SER Teen Tuesday! Today we spotlight RTP BJ Tillman! Make sure you join @SERJNJTEENS IG Live May 2nd for our JJ SER College Decision Day, the day JJ Seniors share their commits to a college with the region. BJ Tillman is a Senior at Brookstone School in Columbus, GA, where she is an Honors student and involved in several school organizations, including Young Democrats and the Debate Club. She is also a 4 year varsity player on the Brookstone volleyball team. She currently serves as the Southeastern Region Teen President and represents the SER on the J&J National Teen Board. She has been heavily involved in Jack and Jill of America, Inc. for several years. She has served the Columbus, GA chapter as Teen President, Corresponding Secretary, and a member of the 3-time first place winning COLGA Step Team, serving as a Step Master for the 2019 team. She also maintains voter awareness through “Your Voice Your Vote” social media. BJ’s passion is seeing teens become involved in the voting process. In 2019 she founded a non-profit organization “Your Voice, Your Vote” where she obtained permission from the Muscogee County School District to go into local high schools to register Seniors to vote. She and her team of volunteers have registered hundreds of teens to vote over the past year. She also maintains voter awareness through “Your Voice Your Vote” social media.
